Panchakarma Nursing Panchakarma is an ayurvedic form of treatment which contains various procedures to be performed on the patient for e.g. oleation therapy (application of oil) , sudation therapy (application of steam), emesis therapy, purgation therapy, nasal medication, medicated enema therapy and blood letting therapy. This course contains information about this form of treatment and also training to perform and assist the vaidya (doctor) while performing various panchakarma techniques. In order to avoid such errors we have designed this course especially for housewives and also for people who are responsible for deciding the diet in hospitals, regular dieticians to get a hold of ayurvedic diet principles and also patients who are on treatment (irrespective of which pathy it is). The properties of various food items available in India will be explained. ayurveda has given special importance to preparation of food called as "sanskar". We can change food properties just by different methods of preparation. For e.g. wheat is hard to digest, a 'chapati' or 'pancake' prepared from it will be hard to digest, but if you roast it like popcorn then it becomes easy to digest.
