• Practicing pure ayurvedic medicine including panchakarma therapy since 1983.

Educational activities :-

• Teaching and guiding students of ayurveda since1983 in the Indian tradition of "Guru-Shisya Parampara" conducting discourse on Charak-Samhita for graduate and post-graduate students of ayurveda every Sunday since 1983.

• Started Dhanvantari Institute of Panchakarma and Massage to impart practical knowledge of ayurveda, massage and other aspects of ayurveda to the common man.

•  External examiner for ayurveda undergraduates at Gwallior University for 3 years.

• Additional guidance to post-graduate (Ayurveda Vachaspati) students regarding research work in Ayurveda.

• Conducted classes in "Yoga and Ayurveda" (Diploma Course) for common people for 7 years.

• Conducting yoga classes for common people.

• Conducting courses on Pancha-karma and Massage for foreign paramedical students since 1997.

Other Activities :-

• Established Ashwinikumar Aushadi Nirman Shala for preparing pure ayurvedic medicines according to ancient Ayurvedic texts and in traditional Indian method without using any modern machinery in workshops at Thane and Oglewadi.

• Started Parijat Prakashan for publishing books on ayurveda. especially on unpublished topics and for publication of rare and out of print ayurvedic books and manuscripts.

• Started Ashwin Book Agency for selling all types of ayurvedic literature.

• Numerous articles on ayurveda for the common people published in various newspaper and magazines from time to time.

• Invited as guest lecturer for International Conference on Massage held in Tokyo by Dietetics and Aesthetics Association of Japan in 1995. Topic of Lecture: Pancha-karma therapy and Swastha-vrutta (Daily Regimen).

• Invited as expert speaker at seminars held on various ayurvedic topics.

Awards 

•  “Pujya-Padacharya Rachanatmak Puraskar” awarded by Vd. Khadivale Prathisthan, Pune in Dec 1999.

• "21st century Ayurveda Excellence Award" awarded by Integrated Council for Socio-Economic Progress, Hyderabad in December 2005 in recognition of outstanding achievements, excellence & experience in the field of ayurveda.

• Pathya-Apathya Vinischaya :- Dietary information in various diseases as mentioned in ayurvedic texts.
